American Animal Hospital Association - (AAHA) | Jonesboro Animal Hospital has been an accredited hospital member of the American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA) since 1971. We are currently the longest standing member of the association in the state of Georgia. We follow the AAHA standards of quality care and are periodically inspected by the AAHA to ensure that we maintain the high quality services that your pet deserves. VACCINATIONS AND WELLNESS CARE We strive to prevent illness whenever possible. The time and effort invested in Wellness programs has rewards for both pets and owners. Our Wellness programs are designed specifically for your pet and include: Comprehensive physical exam; internal parasite testing; heartworm and flea control; vaccination program; spay and neuter packages; and specialized blood tests for all life stages.

BOARDING Pets are like our children – we feed, nurture and lavish attention on them. Our staff will do the same for your pet when you can't be there. We have a large kennel facility that can house your pet comfortably when you are away. We supply everything they need from food to toys. If your pet requires special food please bring that along.

Canine 19.00 per night/per animal
Feline 14.00 per night/per animal
*If your pet requires daily medicines be given there is an extra 2.00 boarding treatment charge. |

BATHING Treat your pet to a luxurious bath. Our special, cleansing baths remove dirt, debris and that doggie pet odor. Your pet will feel fresh and revitalized. If scratching is a problem, our medicated baths contain soothing agents that stop the itching. We also offer other grooming services such as nail trims, ear cleaning and empty anal gland's.

LASER SURGERY Lasers are a minimally invasive alternative to traditional surgery.
Lasers replace scalpels in many procedures, and are useful for a wide range of surgeries, such as cyst, tumor, and wart removal, spays, neuters and declawing.
Laser procedures result in less pain; less bleeding and less swelling. They reduce risk of infection and result in less post-operative discomfort.

DIGITAL DENTAL X-RAY | Digital Dental X-rays allow us to evaluate a pet's mouth for hidden oral disease. We take digital dental X-rays with every canine dental cleaning. X-rays are important in the assessment of dental disease, jaw fractures, and oral tumors. Intraoral Radiographs (X-rays) are highly recommended to always be taken before oral surgery.
